Every year the Board of Management, Advisory Board and SIG and Chapter Leaders of the Design Society meet to discuss the development and administration of the Society and, in a day of scientific discussions, to explore important issues in design research. The meeting is called the Rigi Meeting, after the location in Switzerland, where the Society was founded in 2000.
Participants of the Rigi Meeting are the Design Society Board of Management, Advisory Board, SIG and Chapter leaders and other invited guests.
The Story of the "Rigi Meetings" and its origins was published during the Design Society's 20th Anniversary in 2020 and was written by Christian Weber, Mogens Myrup Andreasen and Sandor Vajna. You can read the full publication in DS Publications: https://www.designsociety.org/publication/42465/Rigi+Meetings.
Note: Participants for the Rigi Meeting should log into the Design Society website to see practical details of the meetings.
