Abstract

Today, sustainability is increasingly important in product development, making lightweight design vital for resource conservation. However, its synergy with sustainability is unclear, offering energy efficiency but complex life cycle processes. The present work presents three approaches to harmonize both paradigms, based on a meta-synthesis of a systematic literature review.
