Abstract
On the last decades, the space industry has been interested in implementing metal additive manufacturing. However, the transition from traditional to additive manufacturing technologies requires designers to consider new design and manufacturing constraints. A limitation for the implementation of additive manufacturing is the need for support structures which increase material consumption and post processing time. In this article, a software was created to automatically modify product geometry to reduce the need for support structures.
