Abstract
he programme should be truly a pan-European with students participating in global projects through exchanges and remote working techniques, with final assessment through the presentation of portfolios and products created by the students. Such a programme is seen to provide the base for the recognition of product designing as a high level intellectual activity and the creation of much needed skills for Europe’s manufacturing industries.
