Call for bids to host ICED27

Are you interested in hosting a future ICED conference?

The next Call for Bids will be to host ICED in 2027, the 26th International Conference on Engineering Design. A Call for Bids was announced at the end of the ICED23 conference in Bordeaux. The Board of Management will be open to receiving bids until Friday, 19 January 2024.

The bidding process's result and the hosts of ICED27 will be announced at ICED25 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

A new call for bids will then be announced to host ICED in 2029 (ICED29)

In the past, there was a preference for the location of ICED to be between Europe and the rest of the world. However, this does not always happen, and the Board of Management will consider bids from any country for each event. The hosting team is responsible for organising the conference in partnership with the Design Society, following a well-established task-sharing scheme.
