Robust Design SIG Research Seminars
The RD SIG would like to invite PhDs and faculty members, who are interested in discussing current Robust Design research, to participate in an online seminar series. With the planned seminars, we would like to provide:
- a regular opportunity to share and discuss ideas and new research in the field of Robust Design.
- a platform for exploring and mapping out the variety of robustness related research areas.
- a possibility to better connect and increase collaboration.
In bi-monthly meetings, the seminars will include a planned research presentation as well as an open discussion on collaborative research, future SIG activities, etc. And we are happy to announce our next (for some lunch) seminar for the end of October:
Date: 28th of October, at 12 noon (CEST)
Guest: Dr. Kevin Otto (University of Melbourne)
Presentation: Uncertainty Quantification and Reduction Using Jacobian and Hessian Information
If you are interested to participate or also to present your research, please let us know. You find all relevant information as well as an initial plan for future seminars under RD seminars on the RD SIG homepage (https://robust.designsociety.org/).
We are looking forward to a certainly interesting discussion
