Abstract
The following paper gives an overview for methods used for robustness evaluation of failure cirterias of composite structures. Due to the scatter of the input parameters that is given by nature - such as the fiber angles - failure criterias are subjected to scatter, too. The paper shows the methods used for the robustness evaluation, the prerequisites to a numerical model and how such a workflow can be set up in a parametric environment. The focus will be on the failure criterias “Max. Stress”, “Tsai-Hill” and “Puck”. With a benchmark, relations between the parameters are shown.
